The project services will help end-users in planning, construction and operations of solar energy power plants and while operating conventional power plants. ENVISOLAR ( contract number 17734/03/I-IW ) is part of ESA's Earth Observation Services Market Development (EOMD) Activities. Background of the EOMD programme: The ESA Earth Observation Envelope Program (EOEP) includes an element of activity entitled 'market development' (EOMD). EOMD is in place to address the needs and problems of the Earth Observation service industry such that this sector can collectively grow and prosper now and in future. All activities are defined in close co-operation with industry through dedicated workshops and individual company feedback.
